Eddy is a senior associate in the Environment, Health and Safety team, specialising in corporate criminal defence.

He advises on all aspects of EHS law, to include defending contentious proceedings, providing non-contentious compliance advice, and presenting to corporate duty-holder audiences on various matters touching regulatory compliance.

Eddy regularly appears in Magistrates’ Courts and Coroner’s Courts, as well as attending the Crown Court defending prosecutions brought by the Police, HSE, EA and others.

He has non-contentious experience, advising on product conformity and avoiding potential liability as regards particular regulations, and more generally in conducting reviews of health and safety management systems.

Eddy has presented to a variety of audiences on safety management systems and on compliance regimes relating to particular regulations, as well as on liability, sentencing and conducting internally privileged investigations.
