Practice notes

Graham is a Scottish qualified associate within our real estate team in Edinburgh. Following a training that was very much focused on commercial property, Graham qualified in June 2014 before joining Eversheds three months later.

He advises on a broad range of Scottish real estate transactions with a particular focus on commercial leasing, acting for both landlords and tenants. Graham acts for various occupiers, including a major international fast food chain in the expansion and management of its Scottish store portfolio. Graham also acts for a landlord in the leasehold management of its shopping centres and has recently acted for administrators in assigning the Scottish leasehold portfolio of a major UK telecommunications company.

Graham has significant experience in the utilities industry, acting for a national utilities provider in respect of its Scottish leasehold interests. He is the principal contact for a national Independent Distribution Network Operator acting in the acquisition of electrical substations and gas governors in sites across Scotland.
