Practice notes

Laura is a Senior Associate in our Human Resources Practice Group. She specialises in advising education sector clients on contentious and non-contentious employment matters. She qualified as a solicitor in September 2009 and joined Eversheds Sutherland in January 2019.

Laura has significant experience in acting for both Claimants and Respondents in the Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal, including large scale multi-Claimant matters, and all types of claims including whistleblowing, discrimination, TUPE and unfair dismissal.

Laura regularly advises clients on redundancies and restructures, collective consultation and trade union issues, complex internal grievance and disciplinary hearings, senior executive terminations and whistleblowing issues. Laura also provides advice on governance and constitutional issues to higher and further education institutions, schools and academies.

Laura is experienced in delivering training and seminars and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association
