Practice notes
Amy is a Senior Associate in the Financial Services Dispute Resolution department. Her work focuses on finance litigation for lenders involved in the secured and unsecured loan market. Amy also acts for Receivers appointed pursuant to secured loans.
Her recent experience includes working for some of the UK's largest residential lenders dealing with complex recovery litigation, involving a wide variety of issues including fraud, undue influence, third party interests, Land Registry indemnity claims and sale and rent back cases.
In addition to her work for lenders, Amy leads a team dealing with work appointing and acting for Law of Property Act Receivers.
Amy also deals with Consumer Credit Act claims, landlord and tenant proceedings, insurance recoveries, forfeiture issues and other consumer issues such as bank charges.
Amy regularly provides guidance for a number of lenders on the litigation process and the issues set out above and attends meetings of the Institute of Credit Management.
