Practice notes
Toon Denayer is an of counsel in our real estate and regulatory practice.
He graduated cum laude from the KULeuven Faculty of Law in July 2007. He subsequently obtained postgraduate degrees from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 2008 (Master en droit international public) and from the KULeuven in 2009 (Master in European politics and policies). In 2018, he also obtained a postgraduate degree in Real Estate from the KULeuven (Postgraduaat Vastgoedkunde).
Toon is working as a lawyer since September 2009 (Bar of Leuven), with a particular focus on Environment, Planning, Expropriation and Public law. He also has a significant experience in drafting and negotiating contracts, legal advising and contract management in the real estate sector, as well as in conducting legal proceedings before the Belgian civil and administrative courts.
Furthermore, since 2015 Toon is working at the KULeuven, Brussels campus, as an assistant for the courses “Introduction to Legal Science”, “Legal Methodology” and "International Public Law".
