Debbie is a Senior Associate in our Corporate Claims team. She has an exclusive background in Defendant Personal Injury with over 15 years’ experience in defending RTA, EL & PL, Health & Safety Law, Occupational Health & Disease matters.

Debbie has dealt with large volume Defendant litigation on behalf of insurance companies, local authorities and self-insured companies. She has also been responsible for the day-to-day running of defendant litigation departments for insurer clients and managing a litigation team for a global logistics and supply chain company. She has dealt with a wide variety of personal injury claims arising from logistics/haulage, consumer/retail, healthcare & prison claims. Her emphasis has been on high value and catastrophic injury claims, including claims involving brain injury, amputation and spinal injury claims.

As well as providing training on a broad range of topics to clients and the CII, she has also advised on strategic solutions to reduce risk/litigation.

Her recent success includes a catastrophic claim in which the claimant’s solicitors were restricted to court fees only due to failure to file their costs budget in time
