Kevin is a partner in our real estate department and is noted as a leader in his field by The Legal 500 directory of UK law firms and is also a ranked solicitor in the Chambers guide to the UK legal profession.
Kevin heads up the development and regeneration team based in our Cardiff office and has considerable experience nationwide of dealing with commercial development projects for both the public and private sector, residential development schemes for leading residential developers and registered providers and care home development projects.
Examples of Kevin's recent personal experience include acting for:
- a transport sector client in a number of joint venture development matters utilising its existing assets to drive value for the business;
- a leading developer in connection with the redevelopment of the former Llanwern steelworks in Newport;
- a leading listed housebuilder on its acquisition of and the grant to it of options to acquire a number of sites in both South Wales and the South West;
- a specialist care home developer on numerous acquisitions and pre-lets as well as in connection with the establishment of and disposal of assets and investments to a healthcare fund;
- a leading RP based in London on the due diligence required in connection with a recent £250 million bond issue;
- The Welsh Assembly Government in connection with the SA1 development in Swansea;
Examples of Kevin's wider team's recent experience are acting for:
- a public sector client in connection with a redevelopment in Abergavenny town centre;
- another public sector client in connection with the redevelopment of the former Ebbw Vale steelworks.
