Wierzbowski Eversheds Sutherland represents InterRisk TU S.A. in successful dispute with contractor

The case involved damages for allegedly unjustified termination of a contract with immediate effect. The claim exceeded PLN 1 million.

The Wrocław Regional Court denied the claim in its entirety and awarded attorneys’ fees to InterRisk. The issue of the justification for termination of the contract was key to the case, along with arguments concerning the statute of limitations and failure to prove the amount of alleged loss. The judgment is legally final. The client was represented by attorney-at-law Paweł Stykowski, who manages the regulatory risk and compliance practice.
